In this post, I’ll be sharing the telltale signs of when you need help with your food storage. See if any of this sounds like you.
You’re Completely New to It
You’ve never tried putting together your food storage before. Maybe you don’t know where to start. I find that when I want to accomplish a goal that I don’t know much about, it’s good to get help from someone who is knowledgeable.
You’re Stuck in “Research Mode”
I’ve been guilty of this one! I can spend hours looking online and then I don’t know what to do with the information I found. Sometimes, I’ve spent all my time and energy researching and I have nothing left to use that research.
Every Plan You’ve Tried Does Not Work for You
This is definitely the case for me. It’s the biggest reason I’ve been stuck for so long. Every plan I’ve tried involves food that I don’t want to eat, or sometimes don’t want to cook. Sometimes, it includes foods that take too long to cook for my lifestyle.
Let me introduce you to Misty Marsh of Simple Family Preparedness. Her mission is to help people like you and me sort through all the information, put together a food storage plan that works and then follow that plan. I love how she describes what she does in her own words.
“My goal is to make emergency preparedness uncomplicated and my proven methods are powerfully simple. I break things down into do-able steps – quick wins that you can actually accomplish.”
Misty has three options for you to get help with your preparedness.
- Learn how to cook with food storage with Your Shelf-Stable Pantry Cookbook.
- Get help putting together a 72-hour kit with this eBook.
